Doodh Talai located in the heart of the city is known to be the prime tourist spot. The view mesmerizes us with its beautiful and picturesque landscape. As the name sounds, it is a small pond adjoining to the famous lake pichhola surrounded by small hillocks. Dudh Talai is not only a small pond but it also exhibits some prime spots as “Manikya Lal Verma Garden”, “Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park”, “The Ropeway”, “The sacred Karni Mata Temple” and “Lake Pichhola”.

Manikya Lal Verma Garden hosts a mesmerizing view of Lake Pichhola and Dudh Talai Lake. It is a public park constructed by Municipal Council of Udaipur. The garden is constructed on a hilly area with a spectacular spot of nature. This hill also has the sacred Karni Mata Temple on the top. Steps are constructed to reach the temple and we can also reach us there by ropeway.

Upon reaching uphill, we can pry to the lake pichhola, Sajjangarh and Neemuch mata temple. The ropeway itself gives a beautiful view of the city. It connects the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Park to Karni Mata Temple which takes around a 4-5 minutes of ride at a height of around 500 meters.

Apart from Manikya Lal Verma Garden, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Park is onother garden located on the adjoining hillock to Manikya Lal Verma Garden. This garden hosts a sunset point where the sun reflects the twilight in the lake pichhola and it also exhibits rajasthan’s first “Musical Fountain”.

Dudh Talai also offers fast food services as well as tourists can also enjoy a camel ride, horse ride or a boat ride. You can reach Dudh Talai by local auto or hire a private taxi. Being located near to the center of Udaipur City, it is at a distance of around 24 km from Udaipur Airport and around 4 km away from Udaipur City Railway Station.
